Binaya Humagain

"My practice of clicking photographs any day and every day is akin to keeping a visual diary. As I stroll around the heritage sites in Kathmandu (Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan durbar squares are places I frequent with my friends), I meet people from all over the world and observe the human dramas that unfold in the quiet moments during day and night. Capturing these fleeting moments, ripened with emotions, is what my practice as a lens-based artist. "

Trained in painting and graphics designing, Binaya Humagain completed graduation from Lalitkala Campus, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu and currently pursuing Masters in fine arts. He has participated several times in the National Exhibition organised by Nepal Academy of Fine Arts. He has been part of many residency programmes and art camps. Binaya lives and works in Kathmandu, Nepal.
