In my works, I try to explain the beauty of nature. The forested area near my childhood home is an integral part of my life, perhaps I found my way into my works as well. Its lines and textures, that weave the world around us, manifest itself in my works.
I never begin with a preconceived idea in my mind. I find it restrictive. My work has unrestrained freedom to grow in any direction that seems most natural to me. In this sense, my work is easily affected and moulded by my emotions that I feel at that moment. I never stop to ponder over where a certain work may lead me to. My previous experiences, and observations made, subconsciously slip into my prints, merging itself with the creative process until I finish, and discover a new meaningful work. Even when I deal with abstract forms, I genuinely portray them with a sense of rationalism.
