Artist Statement:

I have been fascinated by objects since my childhood. My father is a carpenter, and I grew up surrounded by various types of carpentry objects and tools. This early exposure deeply influenced my work.

In my practice, I explore diverse materials and forms. I focus on objects, studying their structures, dimensions, and surfaces, while also exploring the possibility of presenting them as abstract forms detached from their usual functional context in sculpture.

I lived in the Cherlapally industrial area in Hyderabad for four and a half years. During this time, I closely observed factories inside area, industry, industrial spaces, machines, their functions, production environments, and the processes of object-making.

As I did not have a formal space to study everything, I translated my observations directly into drawings and paintings. Through my work, I capture these observations and their essence as part of my ongoing artistic journey.
