Keep it Real explores the relationship between reality and the artistic languages of realism, extending the historical understanding of art as an unmediated perception of outer realities. With artists from across India, the exhibition presents multiple trajectories of realism that engage with questions of gender, history, migration, and minoritarian identities. The exhibition asks, Can art still be a mirror to the world?
