Designs of agricultural stretches attracted me to explore compositional layouts. These designs have been derived from spaces mainly constituting rural. Though initially the selection of these spaces and thereby the designs was instinctive, since I come from a village, later I tried to look into the implications of such considerations. This has been essential to bringing my practice within the realm of a research base. Recently, I studied patterns of land cultivation as a means of understanding the processes of human interventions in natural spaces. Hence, one part of my presentation involves the overlapping of cultural and natural spaces. I intend to focus on studying indigenous layouts of propositions for cultivating land. Here, I plan to form motifs and design contraptions to simultaneously form aesthetically layered sculptural designs and motifs, reflecting diverse interests concerning history, culture, ethnography, and botany.

The purpose of it is to indicate the source of my artistic contemplations, and by combining these in an aesthetic format, I shall negate the same to create artistic ambivalences. The realization of natural design has been a focus. I take this opportunity to mention here that this focus is a natural response to form intrinsic to any sculptural practices. This orientation is contemplated by considering vegetal forms as objects under scrutiny. Often, I have looked at their locations and situations in order to not only add layers to the design but also hint at the cultural space these layouts occupy. Hence, the iron structure for putting up hoarding invaded by creepers in any urban space is meant to be an overlap of opposite forces leading to premonitions. The design of a beehive indicates architectonic elements of architecture. The linear interwoven spread of boundaries often found in rural setups becomes a context when juxtaposed with natural vegetal forms to indicate the long history of derivations from nature to form the natural. However irrational this juxtaposition may appear, the attempt remains to form an aesthetically fulfilling visual register.
